Work Induced Haze?

Is there such thing as a work induced haze? Because I think I’m in one. Basically, I’m so one-track minded that when I’m totally focused on something everything else becomes a blur and sometimes I even forget to breathe.

The last few days for example, I’ve been working on some of my sites. To make a long story short, I’ve been adding HUNDREDS of pages of content to DOZENS of sites with TARGETED links and translating them into SEVERAL different languages, and trying to get it done ASAP, and …well you get the picture.

Several mental and physiological changes begin to take place when I enter a work induced haze. I become increasingly irritable and less likely to hear things said to me by my family members. My body begins to feel sluggish and sloth-like after several days of sitting at a computer with no excercise. Luckily today I manged to drag myself out for a brisk walk with the family, which helped offset the haze for a little while. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be motivated to break out of it and go for a run.

I’m not a workaholic by nature. On my two week vacation for example I didn’t work at all, and I didn’t want to. I’d say I’m just really, really motivated to get certain stuff done.
